NVIDIA leaves no room for debate about who has the leading position when it comes to graphics cards. Following the spectacular success of the high-end GeForce 1080 and 1070 Series models, NVIDIA comes out with the perfect card for gamers who want to play in resolutions up to 7680 × 4320 pixels - the GeForce GTX 1060.
With the new Pascal architecture, the EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 boasts significantly improved performance while being much more energy-efficient. Expected power consumption is only 120W - a big difference when compared to around 165W for the GTX 980, which gives similar performance.
The EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB offers supreme power with its 1152 CUDA cores. The GP106 core from the Pascal family runs at up to 1708MHz in Boost mode. With 3GB of GDDR5 memory with a 192GB/s bandwidth, the graphics chip can handle even the most demanding tasks.
The card is also equipped with an advanced ACX 3.0 cooler, which is quieter and more effective than the reference variant. In this case, one 8-pin connector is sufficient for power.
