This compact network switch with 16 Ethernet RJ-45 ports supports speeds of 10 and 100Mbit/s. The device is designed for use in small offices and has an extra 512kB memory that is dynamically allocated.
There is, of course, support for half-duplex and full-duplex, and because of this the switch has double the data throughput over the hub. NWay Autosensing automatically detects the speed of the connected computer or other hub to optimally adjust data flow. There is, of course, a self-signalling function that allows cross-cables to be connected to switches. For easy control, it includes a set of LEDs that tell you how active each port is, its power, speed, or whether there is collision.
There is no fan in the device, so the switch is suitable for deployment directly at the workstation or as a cable rack.
