CyberPower Battery Expansion Module for OLS Rack/Tower 2/3kVA
Imagine a power outage minutes before the entire file was saved. Almost all your work has vanished, and you have to start again from nothing. Such catastrophic scenarios can be averted by the CyberPower Battery Expansion Module for OLS Rack/Tower 2/3kVA UPS. In principle, this hardware is just a premium battery backup that powers all types of electronics. The CyberPower Battery Expansion Module for OLS Rack/Tower 2/3kVA UPS uses the Off-line design approach. Off-line is the most basic form, since it switches to the internal battery for electric power in case of a outage.
- Type of backup power supply: Off-line
The most important parameter is how long the UPS will function when the electricity is off. This is governed by the power consumption of the connected electronics – for example, at half-load (50%), the run time can last up to three times as long. It is therefore necessary to estimate the energy consumption of the connected computers, monitors and other electronics and it is best to add some spare power left.
