Seven PCIe 5.0 x16 expansion slots form the foundation for professional deployment. All slots provide full bandwidth for the latest generation of graphics accelerators and compute cards. Additionally, each slot is reinforced with SafeSlot technology, a strengthened metal casing that securely holds even heavy cards and protects the slot from physical damage.
Onboard power and overclocking
The 16+2+2+1+2 phase power system supplies the processor with stable and precisely regulated voltage even under heavy load. For the Intel Xeon platform, this motherboard offers overclocking capabilities, so users can tune the performance of the processor and RAM. NitroPath technology optimises the signal paths for DDR5 memory, contributing to greater stability at high frequencies. Reliable power is supported by ProCool II connectors, which feature improved heat dissipation and a more solid connection.
Comprehensive active cooling system
To maintain stability during continuous operation, the board uses a sophisticated cooling system. Large aluminium heatsinks cover the power delivery (VRM), chipset, 10Gb LAN controller, and all four M.2 slots. Key components, such as the VRM and chipset area, are also actively cooled by integrated fans. The package also includes the AngleBoost Fan Kit, a removable fan that directs airflow over the DDR5 memory modules and MOS area.
Connectivity for workstations
Network communication is handled by two 10Gb LAN ports, managed by an Intel E610-XAT2 controller, which reduce the time needed to transfer large datasets. For connecting the fastest external devices, there are two USB4 ports with a 40Gbps transfer speed on the rear panel. These ports also support DisplayPort alt mode for video output at resolutions up to 8K at 60Hz. Six USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports with a speed of 10Gbps and an internal header for a front USB-C port serve to connect additional peripherals.
Flexible and fast storage
For system and work drives, the board offers four M.2 slots, all with support for the PCIe 5.0 x4 interface. This allows users to install the fastest NVMe SSDs on the market and configure them in RAID arrays. Specialised SlimSAS and MCIO connectors are available for connecting server and industrial SSDs. Further drive connection options include four standard SATA III ports. M.2 drive installation is simplified by the Q-Latch system, which works without screws and securely locks the drive in place.

An integrated AST2600 BMC chip handles IPMI-level server management. For remote monitoring, diagnostics, and system maintenance, the board uses a separate 1Gb LAN port that operates independently of the main operating system.
