49" Philips 49B2U6900CH

This 49" Philips LCD monitor allows you to work in Dual QHD (5120 × 1440) resolution. The high contrast of its VA panel guarantees rich, deep black reproduction. This ensures better visibility of objects, even in darker areas. It operates with a 10-bit colour depth. HDR technology renders much more detail with realistic image depth and higher contrast, similar to what the human eye sees. Reflections are minimised thanks to the anti-reflective surface of the display, which improves visibility in different lighting conditions. The ultra-wide 32:9 aspect ratio monitor offers maximum image width. This format gives you plenty of space for demanding work and allows you to enjoy films that fill the entire screen. The VA panel is backlit by LEDs. A maximum brightness of 450 cd/m² improves visibility when working in direct sunlight, but the monitor can also be used in showrooms, for example. It can be mounted on a wall or stand using the VESA 100×100 mount. This makes it easy to organise your workspace with multiple monitors.

The Philips monitor will surprise you with its interesting features and functions

The 49" VA PC monitor is designed with a curved display, which provides a more natural viewing experience thanks to an optimal field of view. At the same time, it allows you to relax while watching a film or playing games. It is equipped with a filter that lets less harmful blue light through and a Flicker-Free function that reduces the frequency of monitor flicker. This can help reduce eye fatigue and improve sleep quality. The PiP (Picture in Picture) function allows you to display a small picture or video on the main display. It allows you to easily switch between the main picture and the smaller embedded window without having to interrupt the main activity on the screen. The monitor will delight you with its KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) function, which allows you to work with multiple computers simultaneously without switching cables. Such a setup is often used by streamers so that the streamed content does not lose quality when one computer is busy. It gives you the ability to work on two tasks at once without needing a second monitor. The Picture by Picture (PbP) feature is designed for comparing data and working with different applications on two separate screens. Among the great features is the Power Delivery fast charging via USB-C, which allows you to charge your tablet, wireless headphones, smartwatch, laptop, smartphone or other small electronics with a power of up to 100W. With Power Delivery, safety is also guaranteed because the device gets just the right amount of electrical energy it needs and will not be overcharged. You can adjust the monitor to your preference so that its top is at eye level, thus promoting good posture, which eliminates the risk of back pain, does not strain your cervical spine and prevents scoliosis.

The Philips monitor will pleasantly surprise you with its equipment

You can use HDMI, USB-C and DisplayPort to connect the monitor to your computer or laptop. Connecting the monitor to a laptop via this USB-C will not only provide the image, but thanks to the Power Delivery function, it will also power the laptop without the need for a classic mains charger. The integrated speakers provide a convenient solution for sound and image in one device. It includes a webcam, which you can use for streaming, talking while playing with your team or friends, communicating via Discord, etc. In addition to the monitor, the package also includes an HDMI, DisplayPort and USB-C cable.

Choose a monitor based on native contrast and colour coverage

The Philips monitor provides a native contrast of 3000:1. The native contrast ratio determines the difference between the brightest and darkest point the monitor can display. If a monitor's contrast ratio is 3000:1, it means that the brightest point (white) is 3000× brighter than the darkest point (black). The sRGB colour coverage expresses what percentage of the colours from this colour space the monitor can reproduce. The advantage of sRGB is that it is a common colour space that is available on most monitors. This monitor's sRGB colour coverage is 119%. It will therefore display more colours than is usual for it. The colours have more shades, their reproduction is more attractive and the content on the monitor will look better.
