For presentations in meeting rooms, it offers simple switching between signal sources and automatic input detection. The interface includes modern HDMI and USB-C ports as well as an older VGA connector.
Key features of the NEC 32" MultiSync E328-2 large format display
- Integrated media player
- Remote management via LAN
- Supports portrait and landscape installation
- Powers connected external devices
- Consistent colours from various viewing angles
- Automatic signal detection
Integrated media player
The display includes an integrated MediaPlayer that supports native resolution and High Dynamic Range (HDR) for displaying high-contrast content. The player runs content directly from a connected USB storage device and requires no additional cables or software, which simplifies installation and reduces costs. For connecting external devices that need extra computing power, such as mini PCs, a 10W power delivery USB interface is provided.
Connectivity and control
For quick-start presentations in conference rooms, automatic input detection and simple switching between HDMI signal sources are available. Device managers can control the display remotely via the integrated LAN using NaviSet Administrator 2 software for centralised management. This feature is crucial when managing multiple displays within a corporate network. Connections to both modern and older devices are handled by HDMI, USB-C and VGA ports.
Operation and construction
The display uses LED backlight technology, which reduces power consumption and contributes to a longer panel lifespan. The lighter 5.3kg construction makes transport and wall mounting with a standard 100×100mm VESA mount easier. The slim design with narrow bezels is complemented by built-in speakers with a total output of 10W, which eliminates the need for external sound for basic applications in meeting rooms or shops.
Standalone operation and versatility
The display is designed for direct standalone operation thanks to a combination of an integrated USB player, speakers and scheduling function. Content can be scheduled to display at specific times without the need for an external computer. Flexibility is further enhanced by the fact that the display supports both portrait and landscape installation. This variability expands its use for various types of digital communication, from information panels to advertising displays.
