Durable Resistive Touch Technology
The iiyama ProLite T1531SR-B1S monitor uses 5-wire resistive touch technology. The system works on the principle of two conductive layers separated by spacers. Touching with a finger, stylus or other object causes them to make contact and determines the precise position. It resists dirt, dust and liquids, making it suitable for use in demanding environments such as restaurants, POS systems or production lines. You can connect the touch layer to your computer via a standard USB interface.
Display and Durability
The screen of the 15" iiyama ProLite T1531SR-B1S monitor uses a VA panel with a native resolution of 1024×768 pixels. With a contrast ratio of 2,500:1 and a brightness of 350cd/m², it provides a clearly readable image even in environments with variable lighting. The 4:3 aspect ratio is standard for many POS and control systems. The front of the monitor is IP54 certified, confirming protection against dust ingress and resistance to splashing water from all directions. The design is thus ready for operation in environments where it may come into contact with liquids or increased dust levels.
Flexible Positioning and Installation
The iiyama ProLite T1531SR-B1S monitor has a stable stand that offers ergonomic adjustment options. You can tilt the screen over a wide range, making it easy for the operator to find the optimal viewing angle when working standing or sitting. In addition, the stand supports a pivot function, i.e. rotating the screen by 90° to a vertical position, which is useful for displaying long lists, documents or specific application interfaces. For fixed installation, the monitor is equipped with VESA 100×100mm mounting holes for mounting on a wall or compatible bracket.
Audio Equipment and Connectivity Options
The iiyama ProLite T1531SR-B1S monitor has two integrated 1W speakers, which are complemented by an audio input and a headphone output. It supports HDCP digital content protection. For connecting to a computer or other signal source, the monitor includes an analogue VGA port for compatibility with older systems and digital HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 interfaces. The combination of ports ensures great versatility when integrating into existing and newer infrastructure. The touch layer communicates with the computer via a separate USB cable.

Colour Gamut
Determines how accurately the monitor can display colours. sRGB is ideal for the web, films or games. DCI-P3/Adobe RGB will be appreciated by graphic designers or professionals at work. The higher the value, the better the monitor displays colours. Maximum Brightness
Given in nits or cd/m², this value determines the monitor's brightness level. Brightness above 400 nits is key for HDR content and readability in sunlight, while standard office monitors are fine with values above 250. Refresh Rate and Response Time
The refresh rate (Hz) determines the number of frames displayed per second, so the higher the value, the smoother the image and the less eye fatigue. A lower response time value (ms) eliminates motion blur. 144Hz+ is ideal for gaming, while values around 75Hz are suitable for office monitors.Specifications
