WESTERN DIGITAL Caviar Green 2000GB 64MB cache

Modern hard disk with a capacity of 2 TB of energy-efficient Caviar Green series, that this also promises less heat radiation and therefore longer life. The key to such high capacity is to use perpendicular registration. Perpendicular writing technology allows saving the data plate perpendicular to the disk, the data record is so dense and capacity several times higher compared to the older longitudinal registration. Excellent performance also supports 64 MB of memory cache, which is twice the amount compared to conventional hard drives.

This is a brand new hard drive technology called Green Power, which reduces the consumption of radiated heat and noise. Provide her saving features IntelliPower, IntelliPark and IntelliSeek, which saves disk life and the environment. For smooth operation of such capacity (over 2.5 TB) disk is fitted with a special filesystem Advanced Format a high-speed SATA III, and to utilize the full capacity is to be used with the latest motherboard chipsets and operating systems that support such capacity.
