The Ubiquiti UniFi G6 180 camera provides panoramic area scanning with a total resolution of 16Mpx and a smooth frame rate of 20 FPS. The dual optical sensors provide a 180° horizontal field of view, covering extensive outdoor and indoor spaces without blind spots. The night mode uses built-in diodes with a range of up to 20m, while the design meets IP66 weather resistance for year-round operation. It is powered by PoE+ technology via an Ethernet cable, which simplifies installation on a wall, ceiling, or pole.

Image parameters
The camera captures images using two 1/1.8" 8Mpx sensors, which together produce a resulting image with a resolution of 7680×2160px. Two fixed lenses capture the scene at a horizontal angle of 180° and a vertical angle of 56.7°. The video signal is transmitted at 20 FPS, which maintains the smoothness of fast-moving recordings. H.264 video compression effectively reduces data storage capacity requirements while maintaining high sharpness and image detail.
Night mode
In low light conditions and in complete darkness, night vision with a mechanical filter is activated. Built-in LEDs illuminate the scene up to a distance of 20m. The camera uses the classic spectrum for invisible illumination of the monitored area, preventing glare or unwanted attention. The images retain high contrast and legibility of important details even in darker corners.
Intelligent detection
The integrated processor with Multi-TOPS AI Engine architecture analyses the image in real time. The system reliably recognises faces, cars, animals and vehicle licence plates. When an incident is detected, the camera immediately triggers a sound alarm and sends a notification to the mobile app.
Two-way sound and communication
The camera body contains an integrated microphone and speaker that provide clear sound transmission. This hardware enables two-way voice communication with people near the device. The user can remotely talk to visitors or warn unauthorised persons. In the event of a security breach, the built-in speaker is also used to activate an acoustic alarm.
Connectivity and application
Network connection is provided by an RJ-45 Ethernet port supporting 10/100Mb/s speeds. Power is supplied via the PoE+ standard in the voltage range of 37 to 57V DC. Management and live streaming are handled via the manufacturer's mobile app for Android and iOS. Support for the Matter protocol makes it easy to integrate the camera into smart home ecosystems.
