Get to know the interesting world of wildlife

With the Schleich polar fox figurine, you can explore the interesting world of wild animals. What is the polar fox? The polar fox is slightly smaller and shorter than a fox. Its summer coat is predominantly brown, while the winter coat is completely white. The polar fox can bark like a dog. By barking, the fox tries to distract approaching men from its den or its young. The polar fox digs burrows and lives in the Arctic regions of northern Scandinavia, northern Siberia, Alaska, northern Canada, Greenland, and Iceland, as well as the islands of Spitsbergen and Novaya Zemlja in the North Sea. An important part of the fox's diet is represented by small mammals, such as lemmings and white hares. They also live on various carcasses, eggs, chicks, and sometimes the droppings of polar bears. The polar fox lives up to ten years.
