SWS 4900
Weather conditions are a favourite topic of conversation, especially when they can be a real nuisance. It's always useful to be able to predict them. The practical SENCOR SWS 4900 weather station, with its weather forecasting capability, is here to help. It measures outdoor and indoor temperatures and humidity, barometric pressure, and thanks to intelligent recognition of pressure and temperature fluctuations, it can forecast the weather for the next 12–24 hours. The weather station uses the surroundings of your home as its data source, so you always have local and accurate information at hand.
If it's going to rain all weekend, isn't it better to just stay at home? If such a situation is on the cards, your SENCOR SWS 4900 weather station will let you know in advance. The colour display shows the forecast as an image that is easy for even the youngest members of the family to understand. What's more, the station is also able to warn you of approaching dangers, such as extreme temperatures or the risk of ice on the road. This means you can be prepared and dress appropriately, or avoid icy conditions.
The weather station is easy to set up. You can set the time and date on the display manually or let the DCF77 signal do it for you, set the dual alarm, and also choose a suitable backlight intensity. A whole range of other functions are available. The SENCOR SWS 4900 weather station is powered by a mains adapter. The included outdoor sensor works wirelessly up to 80m away and requires two AA batteries to operate. While you place the station on a table at home, the sensor needs to be put outside, for example in the garden or on an open balcony.
