Digital-to-analogue conversion is handled by a premium 32-bit/384kHz PCM5102A DAC from Texas Instruments, which feeds custom-tuned low-pass filters. The circuit design is tailored to the music, which is rendered in detail, with precision and delicacy on a large, open soundstage. Intuitive control of the CD player's functions via the front panel buttons and the included remote control ensure simple setup and operation. A graphic display shows track information, including CD metadata about the title, artist and playback status.
