I was transitioning from the first Galaxy Watch I had for five years, which had its toll on the non-functionality of some parts (for example, the heart rate sensor hasn't worked for the last year), but I held on to it because of the still-three-day battery life. I said I'd buy a new one when it had a rotating lunette and lasted three days, then I narrowed it down to two days, and now I'm hoping to give it at least two full days when I stop playing with the watch. Ordered on Saturday afternoon, arrived at Alza Box on Sunday morning. I was originally going to film the unboxing, but wish I hadn't. I put the belt on for about 20 minutes. I don't know who invented the clasp. I was surprised that even though they have a different system than GW1, some things still look the same and the control logic is similar. I know previous generations have had this, but I was puzzled by the swapping of the back and home screen buttons, on the GW1 it was top back (and didn't work for me) and bottom homescreen, here it's the other way around. The swivel lunette is great, although its knurled surface is not as nice to the touch as the GW1 (there I just twirled it around now and then, here I had it pushed into my finger after a while). When I turn to the right, the widgets are grouped into tiles, this looks nice at first glance, but when I want to scroll lower, I still have to touch the screen. I drained the watch from 80% to 20% on the first day. I'm hoping to charge once every two days when things get a little better. The very first workout I found that I couldn't get from the weight management phase to the aerobic phase, so I wasn't burning anything. I'm hoping the watch will help me now. At the very least, they have sparked a great interest in me to try more and more sports to see how they measure up. Notifications are reliable. I learned how to use google assistant. So you obviously only have to speak English to it, but it works very well. For example, while I was exercising, I could check the score of a football game being played at the time through my watch. I also like the fact that I tell it "Hey Google, find my phone" and it rings it loudly - I had a button for that on my old watch. On the other hand, I haven't managed to put that somewhere in the apps yet. The range of applications is very wide. I was curious to see what it would look like after the move from Galaxy Watch 1. But I actually found that I'll just use the ones that were in the old system too anyway. Except for google wallet. I installed that and added the card. But so far I have not been able to place the link somewhere between the tiles.
