Switching from a Samsung Galaxy s21, it's a lot of big difference, the smoothness and speed of the display excellent, in the sunlight well legible. The phone fits perfectly in your hand and fits easily in your pocket. The battery lasts all day. The camera compared to my old phone is a big step forward. If one uses a Samsung phone I definitely recommend the Samsung Galaxy s26.

I am not a fan of the brand, but simply a user who is used to a certain standard. From the S26 I get exactly what I expected - a reliable tool without having to learn new tricks. After the S3mini, S5, S7, S20FE and S23, this is the next in the S lineup that will hopefully show me that it wasn't just a purchase for more memory. The switch from S23 to S26 makes a lot of sense to me. Even more so if you increase your memory capacity.
Storage: Thanks to a special offer, I finally got the capacity I needed at a reasonable price (512 instead of 256).
Camera: Still top notch for my needs. Now I have to test it in real life to see if it brings a real revolution against S23.
Ergonomics: The design is not much different from the S23. Boring for some, for me an advantage - I don't have to get used to a different grip or control.
Batteries: The first feelings from the endurance are positive. Time and stress will tell. We'll talk when he's as old as my S23.
Switching between phones: The data migration went smoothly. I just hope that my feeling that the old phone will "miraculously" age faster after the arrival of a newer successor is not confirmed.
AI: I use AI to some extent and am happy with it. But I don't expect to make full use of it.
The lack of an SD card slot is still a big minus for me. I find it a "put-down" of the user, which is hard to get used to. If Samsung offered a combination of large internal memory at a decent price and kept the SD card expansion option, I believe there would be record demand for such a phone.

The phone has very solid hardware, great processing and this combined with an excellent and fine-tuned user environment from Samsung One UI. The big advantage for me is the 7 years of updates, which is another of the main arguments why I choose Samsung. Even though Chinese brands are innovating very quickly in hardware it is worse in software. I prefer fine-tuned and tested functional stuff, and that's what Samsung (and Apple) excels at. I also considered the iPhone 17, but when comparing features at the price, the S26 is a better choice in my opinion (at least now in the introductory promotion). I was pleasantly surprised by the brightness of the display in direct sunlight and its overall quality and natural colours. I would have liked to see Samsung upgrade the cameras more, but the photo quality is excellent and fully sufficient for casual snapshots. The advantage of Samsung's higher-end lineup is AI, which is packed with useful features in addition to the equipment. So far I haven't found anything that I find annoying or bothersome. For example. even "only" 25W charging is absolutely sufficient for me in terms of speed.
Quality workmanship and equipment
7 years of updates
Portability
Samsung's great One UI system
AI features
Solid camera, natural colours
Excellent display, also easy to read even in strong direct sunlight
IP68 waterproof and dustproof
Due to the protruding and side-mounted camera, the phone wobbles when placed on the table
Even though it still has quality photo equipment, Samsung could innovate more, it is starting to lag a bit in this

I switched to the S26 from an older galaxy S model. In this regard, samsung has fine-tuned the conversion of all apps/data. I was also pleasantly surprised by the weight of the phone. Overall, the phone looks compact, which is a big plus for this flag. Using the phone is smooth, the phone responds promptly and without delays - but that's kind of expected. What disappointed me is the camera - compared to the older generation galaxy S I don't see much of a shift here in real terms, especially for the user who doesn't want to play with the camera settings for 5 minutes to get the best result. Likewise, within the first few days of using the phone, I notice that the battery may not have the battery life that one would expect - even when you're not using the phone to watch videos, play games, etc. Overall, this is a great phone that is above average in many areas. However, as part of the samsung flagship, the phone would deserve a better camera and maybe a better battery/faster charging.

I chose the Samsung Galaxy S26 mainly because of its compact size as an upgrade from the S24, which is passing on in the family. If one wants a quality compact Android, there's not much choice. S26 or Google Pixel. In the comparison, Samsung won.
Everything works as one expects from Samsung S series.
Long SW support
Light, thin, compact.
Excellent display
It would need better cameras
No significant improvement over the S24, at least at first glance. Pretty bulky protrusion with cameras
Compared to the S24, the smart wallet clear view case is missing

I chose the phone as a replacement for the SONY, which I was happy with because of its relatively small size, seamless one-handed operation. The S26 could be a little narrower, but it's OK for one-handed holding. The height is fine, on the contrary, it is even slightly lower, which I appreciate (it fits normally in your pocket: -)). I'm pleasantly surprised at how quick the responses are and the whole compatibility thing. Setup fairly intuitive (first Samsung). The display impressed me as well as the sound, I'm curious to see how the battery will hold up over time. For me a great choice now.
quality display - perfect picture
ideal size for one hand
light weight and ideal size

fast reactions
a big step forward for me

I struggled a bit with the settings when dragging and dropping data from the original SONY

I am very happy with the new Samsung S26 after the first few days. The phone is incredibly fast, has a top-notch display with true-to-life colours and the camera takes perfect pictures even in low light. The design looks luxurious and the phone is comfortable to hold. The only minor minus is that some of my older professional apps had a problem transferring from the old device, but that will probably be resolved with an update. Overall, this is an excellent mobile that I can definitely recommend to anyone looking for maximum performance.

I chose the Samsung Galaxy S26 mainly because of its compact size and compatibility with QuadLock cases. QuadLock doesn't support virtually any other Androids besides the Samsung S series and Google Pixels. I was switching from the Samsung S22 and wanted to keep similar dimensions, so I was considering the S25, S26 and Pixel 10. I ruled out the S25 because of the pre-order bonuses on the S26, so in the final analysis I was left with a dilemma between the S26 and the Pixel 10. I opted for the S26 - mainly because of the new Exynos 2600 and the One UI, which has suited me better than pure Android in the long run. The phone arrived with One UI 8.5 and honestly it's not quite what I expect from Samsung. You can see that the software is not quite ready yet. There are elements of pure Android in a few places, and some features look like they're done by Google. (Extend Unlock) That wouldn't matter in itself, but every few days my Wi-Fi stops working and I have to switch to mobile data. I hope the move to One UI 9 will solve this. On the other hand, most of the time everything runs perfectly smoothly. The speed of the system and applications is excellent. The Exynos 2600 was really good for Samsung. In more demanding games, it keeps FPS high and performance is stable. Admittedly, this turns the phone into a small direct heater, but that's almost inevitable in compact phones with a powerful chip. The important thing is that the power is really there. The difference is most visible in the battery. I had to charge the S22 every night, otherwise it didn't last until the evening. The S26 can handle two days on a single charge with light to moderate use. I've seen this with the iPhone 17 and I'm glad Samsung can do it too. The camera is reliable and the photos look very good. I wasn't expecting a revolution, especially from the 2023 lenses, but I'm getting consistent results that won't offend even the most demanding users. The only pity is that the macro is missing. Choosing a phone is like choosing a car. Performance is fine, but at the end of the day, the most important thing is that it starts reliably and gets you where you need to go every day. Moore's law is dead, so we can no longer expect dramatic jumps in every generation. The Galaxy S26 is a small, solid and powerful flagship. The only thing stopping it from being a really great phone now is the unfinished software. If Samsung quickly releases One UI 9 and fixes bugs and adds missing features, this device will be exactly what I expected from it.

I bought this phone knowing that in terms of parameters it is not the best value purchase on the market. The charging speed could, or rather should, be higher. The display resolution could also be higher, although the display looks very nice. The battery could also be bigger and the cameras, which have been identical for several years, need not be mentioned. But even so, the photos and videos are perfectly adequate for the needs of the ordinary user. However, from the user side, there is nothing to complain about, the phone looks premium, fits beautifully in the hand, is light. The system is fast, the fingerprint reader is reliable and the battery holds up thanks to good optimization. I can't rate the AI features because I don't have enough experience with using them yet. But even though I am aware of the various shortcomings I bought this phone and I am perfectly happy with it.

Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised by the phone. A big plus is its shape, size and weight The device is comfortable in the hand, not unnecessarily heavy and looks compact. I also really like the software, especially the look of the Samsung One UI, which is clear, modern and easy to use. Another strong point is the cameras and the quality of the photos which is excellent both in daylight and in low light. The only major minus I see is the charging speed. The phone only supports 25W wired charging, which is a rather slower standard than some competing phones today. Overall, however, I am very happy with the phone.
