I guess I'll start with the instructions, which are as brief as a book about nothing. I slowly learned more from the box it came in and the instructions are just kind of a repeat of what's on the box. It's really great that you have described where what is, for example, where the lens is, because without that, I wouldn't know. As for the setup, I don't know. The camera itself is poorly made, it looks like you ordered it from a Chinese store. Overall, the plastic is the cheaper one and looks flimsy. The camera jams and doesn't work properly. I can't recommend it. Otherwise what I can praise, the image is sharp and the license plate is legible, as for the image management as such (color) it is not so praiseworthy.

I do not recommend this camera. Something was already wrong during installation, the camera threw an SD card error after a while of use, it was new and I rechecked its sectors. After several attempts, the camera started recording. I have it permanently plugged in my car and the camera randomly restarts, turns off recording with various errors, or saves corrupted video. Now it happened to me that after reboot the image is broken and it can't be fixed, so I'll probably advertise. The mobile app is a disaster, it's slow and laggy, it takes about 5 minutes to download one video. When accessed through the app, the camera randomly restarts and stops recording.

SPZ ostatních vozidel jdou rozpoznat bez problémů i za zhoršených světelných podmínek. Široký zorný úhel je velká výhoda – kamera zabere nejen vlastní jízdní pruh, ale i okolní, což se může hodit při nehodě nebo předjíždění. GPS modul pracuje přesně, zaznamenává trasu a rychlost, což je fajn mít zaznamenané pro případ potřeby. Menu a ovládání jsou jednoduché a přehledné – i bez zkušeností jsem vše nastavil během chvilky. Uchycení ke sklu je pevné, během jízdy se nic netřese a montáž zabrala jen pár minut. Bezpečnostní funkce jako G-senzor a parkovací režim fungují podle očekávání – reagují správně, když dojde k otřesu nebo pohybu kolem auta. Celkově jde o spolehlivou kameru, která nabídne víc, než bych v této cenové třídě čekal.

I bought the Navitel RS985 car camera mainly because of the quality of the recording and in this respect it definitely did not disappoint. The 4K image is sharp, the license plates are legible even in oncoming cars, and the colors look natural, almost like a phone. The camera takes a wide angle, so almost the entire windscreen is recorded. Everything you need is in the package - USB and USB-C converter, spare gluing, so there is no need to buy anything else. I installed the front camera without any problems, the rear one was a bit more complicated - mainly because of the cable stretching over the headliner and the gooseneck by the fifth door. What bothers me about the rear camera is that it has a rotating micro-USB connector that moves with the camera, making it difficult to set up properly. What disappointed me is the software. The manual is very brief, some functions are not explained at all. In the beginning the camera only saved 25 second videos, which turned out to be a problem with the obstacle detection, which had to be turned off. The controls are otherwise simple, the menu is in Czech including voice announcements. WiFi connection sometimes fails - the camera sometimes freezes or not all videos are visible. Fortunately, the mobile app is simple, works without registration and downloading videos is fast, even in bulk. I quickly turned off assists like pedestrian detection, lane departure and blind spot assist - they were nonsense and just distracting. But I didn't expect those from a dashcam, so I don't take that as a minus. Overall, I'm happy with the camera - the footage is great, the installation is fine and the app works. Only the software could be more polished.
