ATTENTION and it is not stated anywhere, the disk only runs if it is connected to a running device (PC, laptop, NAS, etc.), otherwise after pressing the power button the disk starts for 5-7 seconds and then turns off again, so if you connect the box with the disk to the NAS, it is necessary that the NAS is started first, the same applies to PC, laptop, etc. In addition to the USB-A > USB-C cable, the package also includes a USB-A to USB-C reduction, a power cable, a total of 10x screws, a screwdriver, instructions and also, as already mentioned here, two adhesive rubber strips, serving as pads for the box, which should be glued over the holes where the screws are, so it's really a question of how long such rubber strips last. The NAS backs up at 50-55 MB/s! Overall, I don't have a bad impression of it, but the speed and the disc attachment are probably the biggest negatives.

I was not as impressed with Axagon's new model as I was with its previous model AXAGON EE35-XA3 ALINE. I'd recommend buying this previous model - I've had several of them pass through my hands and not only does it look great, it's also completely hassle-free and cheaper.

USB-C connector

Nice design

The disc mount is designed differently than is common with similar boxes. The disc is mounted with screws through the box at the bottom and then this is taped over with a rubber washer. Of course, this is more of a one-time solution, since when you need to open the box/change the disc, you have to peel off these rubber pads (and this can damage them)

Probably some BUG in the firmware, I have a problem after turning on the box that my PC does not display the disks and I have to disconnect and reconnect the data cable. With the older AXAGON EE35-XA3 ALINE boxes I did not experience this

Don't be fooled by the picture where only the data cable is nicely connected. There is no PowerDelivery support here and the drive cannot be powered via the USB-C data cable. An external adapter is required.
