High performance with an AMD Ryzen processor
The hardware is powered by a quad-core AMD Ryzen V1500B processor with a 64-bit x86 architecture. This processor offers eight threads, ensuring several applications run smoothly at the same time. As standard, the system includes 16GB of UDIMM DDR4 RAM across two slots. Users can expand the memory up to 64GB by installing two 32GB modules with ECC support, which increases stability and prevents errors when processing critical data.

Network connectivity is handled by two integrated 2.5GbE RJ45 ports that work with existing CAT5e cables. These ports are backward compatible with 1GbE, 100MbE, and 10MbE speeds. These slots support the installation of compatible expansion cards, and with a suitable adapter, both slots can be combined into a single PCIe Gen 3 ×8 interface. Users can install fast 10GbE network adapters or QM2 expansion cards to use M.2 SSDs for caching. The design also supports low-profile graphics cards without external power.
Advanced NAS operating system
The device supports the modern QuTS hero operating system, or the standard QTS system. This system focuses on data integrity, protection against corruption, and includes tools to prevent information loss. It also features support for block-level snapshots.
Reliability with redundant power
For high reliability and continuous operation, the rackmount chassis includes two redundant 550W power supplies. In the event of an unexpected failure of one module, the second backup module takes over without any interruption to the entire system's operation. This hardware configuration effectively protects business data from sudden shutdowns. Three 80mm system fans with 12V power supply handle the cooling of internal components.
Virtualisation support
