Routerboard a flexible network element compact dimensions, which can function as a router and access point. It also supports the bridge (Bridge) mode WDS between the two networks. Model RB493AH is more powerful variant of the RB493, against which offer higher processor speed and more memory. The processor is then clocked up to 680 MHz and RAM size is 128 megabytes
Nine LAN ports of 10/100 Mbit/s provide an ideal solution for Internet distribution as in smaller apartment buildings without having to purchase additional equipment. The outputs can also find the serial port RS-232C (COM). The NAND memory stores the operating system pre-installed MikroTik RouterOS v3 Level 5, which fully supports IPv6, static and dynamic routing, firewall, DNS, and several other features. Routerboard can be powered via the classic DC adapter or through a LAN network, because it supports PoE (Power over Ethernet), so there is no worry to have RouterBoard nearby outlet.
