The Fractal Design Dynamic X2 GP-18 with PWM is a 180mm PC fan developed for exceptionally high airflow, aided by its larger-than-standard 38mm thickness. Its design combines a large diameter with optimised geometry of seven blades to achieve a balance between the volume of air moved and static pressure. With automatic speed control across a wide range of 300 to 1200rpm, the fan adjusts its performance based on the current load of the computer build, maintaining quiet operation during low usage.

High airflow and low noise
The fan blades feature a design with strategically placed notches near the hub that disrupt and suppress unwanted sound frequencies. Another element is the Trip Wire technology, which creates a micro-turbulent layer, thereby reducing turbulence on the trailing edge of the blades and increasing airflow efficiency.
