tiny, great for one. Large steaks, fries, fried cauliflower, etc. for one without limit.
For easy frying (the escaping steam when opening the lid can burn) I ground grooves for the handle of the basket. They are pre-pressed in the top but I had to sand through the AL cover and silver face. This has prevented steam from escaping around, or I no longer have to put the holder on the basket when frying.
