needs to be changed every 6 months (so it will just survive the winter)
cleaning must not be neglected, i.e. soak in a solution of acid. lemon for a few hours and then thoroughly soak and wash in clean.
If you don't do this every week, it will start to get stale and nothing healthy is likely to blow into the air
