great flashlight for emergency lighting, easy to carry in your pocket.
with rechargeable Ni MH AA pencil batteries, a very good combination.
it took me a while to figure out how to switch the light modes, but you get used to it very quickly. The flashlight does not remember the last mode selected. You must always "cycle" from the most economical mode.

Let's not evaluate the E20 for what it is not. It's not a tactical flashlight and it doesn't have overwhelming power. But it's powered by widely available batteries, it's portable, and it does a perfectly adequate job in or around the home. You simply won't need more light there. In emergency situations, on the other hand, you'll probably appreciate the default power saving mode. The E20 size isn't quite for EDC anymore (like the E12 or E09R, both great), but as a standby flashlight it's perfect.
It fits perfectly in the hand. It's tiny for holding 2 AAs.
Performance starts at the lowest, least energy-intensive level
The light cone is quite balanced in favour of both the reach and the flood
Water resistance
A replacement sealing ring is also included
Does not work with Li-Ion batteries

On the highest power it shines incredibly (considering what a tiny thing it is)
Power control (4 stages)
Method of power control. It only has an on/off button, using the on/off to cycle through the modes. It's not entirely bad, the on/off is achieved by lightly pressing the on/off button, but you can't, for example, set level 3 and always turn the flashlight on at that level. We need to re-cycle to that level.
