Aqara video doorbell uses artificial intelligence

With the built-in local face recognition algorithm, you can easily identify the person behind your door. An in-app database links the face to the name, and when a known person shows up at your door, a notification is sent or a set automation is triggered. Even if the internet connection goes down, the facial recognition function of the Aqara Smart Video Doorbell will not be affected.

If you use an Apple device, you'll appreciate that the video doorbell uses HomeKit Secure Video technology. If you don't have your phone with you, you can view the alerts and the video alert on your iPad or Apple TV.

The Aqara Smart Video Doorbell can communicate with both Google and Amazon Alexa devices. With just a voice command, you can see what's happening outside your door.

Aqara Smart Video Doorbell stores recordings in the cloud

With the Aqara video doorbell, you get the ability to store your event footage in the cloud for free. On it you will have all the events recorded for the last 7 days. You can disable event storage in the cloud at any time. The Aqara Smart Video Doorbell has a MicroSD memory card slot with up to 512GB capacity.

Respond to ringtones wherever you are

You don't always have to be at home to answer the doorbell. Just pick up your smartphone and see who's at your door to start a conversation. The Aqara Smart Video Doorbell has a 162° field of view and captures detailed images in Full HD. With its IPX3 design, the video doorbell is also suitable for outdoor use, but the manufacturer recommends installing it under a canopy to prevent direct rain and constant exposure to direct sunlight.

Aqara Smart Video Doorbell can be powered by batteries or mains

The Aqara Smart Video Doorbell can be powered by batteries for up to 4 months or by the following voltages 12V-24V AC 0.2A 50/60Hz, 8V-24V DC 0.5A. In this case, the batteries will serve as a backup power source in the event of a power failure. The video doorbell and repeater are interconnected and their communication is secured by strong encryption that is certified by Apple.

Customise everything for you and your family

If you want to further protect your privacy, the Aqara Smart Video Doorbell allows its unique technology to modulate your voice - e.g. robot or clown, but more may be added with future updates. You can also customise the ringtones. The Aqara video doorbell can play a predefined message if a stranger is at the door. In case of abnormal situations, like a break-in, an attempt to destroy the bell, dead battery, etc., you will be notified immediately, or a 95dB siren will be triggered. The Aqara Smart Video Doorbell allows you to protect the privacy of your neighbours as you can set up to 3 zones that will be hidden on the screen. When a known person is detected, automation can be set to trigger a preset tone, volume and length.
