The Ubiquiti WiFi access point functions as an outdoor access point supporting the Wi-Fi 7 standard and operates across three frequency bands. The device transmits data at a total speed of 8600Mb/s, using modern transmission technology for stable operation. This device delivers high-throughput outdoor wireless connectivity for demanding network installations. Its construction is resistant to adverse weather conditions and meets the requirements for outdoor installation with an IP67 rating. The device, weighing 1.2kg without the mounting kit, operates in a temperature range of -30 to 60°C and can be mounted on a wall or pole.
The device operates in three frequency bands and uses MU-MIMO technology to serve multiple clients simultaneously. The wireless network provides high transfer speeds thanks to the Wi-Fi 7 standard. The speed in the 2.4GHz band is 688Mb/s, in the 5GHz band it reaches 4.3Gb/s, and in the 6GHz band it's up to 5.8Gb/s. The antenna system includes integrated antennas with a gain of 11dBi, which direct the signal to the desired area. The system uses spatial streams for parallel data transmission without collisions.
The access point supports the creation of mesh networks for easy expansion of wireless coverage. The system can handle more than 300 connected client devices at the same time. The integrated antennas cover an area of 465m² with a stable signal. Fast Roaming technology facilitates stable coverage of large outdoor areas without dropouts as users move around. Multiple access points can be operated under a single network name.
The protection of transmitted data meets current security standards for both corporate and private networks. The device offers client isolation and the creation of separate guest zones. It supports encryption using WPA, WPA2 and WPA3 standards, WPA-PSK and WPA-Enterprise security, a Guest Zone function for guest isolation, and Private Pre-Shared Key for secure key sharing. A network administrator can apply advanced encryption to protect sensitive data across the entire network environment. Configuration is done through a centralised management system.
Wired connectivity is handled by a high-throughput Ethernet port for fast data transfer to the local network. Power is supplied exclusively via the Ethernet cable, which simplifies installation on a pole or wall. The device has one WAN/LAN port with a speed of 2.5Gbit and supports power via the PoE standard 802.3at PoE+. This port functions as a high-speed wired connection to the local network for stable data transfer. Powering the device requires a compatible PoE+ injector or switch.
