The Ubiquiti R5AC-Lite-EU WiFi antenna is an outdoor directional router device for wireless data transmission in the 5GHz band. The device uses the 802.11ac standard and airMAX AC technology, which together support transmission speeds of 501Mbps and more. The UV-stabilised polycarbonate construction has an IP54 rating, which protects the internal components from adverse weather conditions. The directional antenna with a 30° beamwidth transmits a dual-polarised signal over a distance of up to 50,000m.

High-Speed Transfers
The device has a WiFi transmission speed of 450Mbps, with a speed of 500Mbps on the 5GHz frequency. The airMAX AC technology uses TDMA time multiplexing, which improves throughput and latency in networks with multiple client stations. Users can select a channel width of 30, 50, or 60MHz depending on the current band load. Support for the 802.11ac standard provides a stable connection on supported frequencies from 5,150 to 5,875MHz.
Resistance to External Elements
The outer casing, made of UV-stabilised polycarbonate, withstands long-term sun exposure and temperatures from -40 to 80°C. The device meets the conditions of the ETSI300-019-1.4 shock and vibration certification, which confirms its structural integrity in demanding environments. The waterproof RP-SMA connectors prevent moisture from entering the RF connections and maintain signal quality. The IP54 rating prevents damage to the internal electronics from dust and splashing water.
Powered via Passive PoE
A single gigabit RJ45 LAN port is used to connect to the network, providing fast wired data transmission. Power is supplied via passive two-pair PoE with a supported voltage range of 20 to 27V DC. The power consumption of the entire system does not exceed 8.5W at full load on the wireless part. The included gigabit PoE adapter facilitates installation without the need for a separate power cable to the antenna.
Flexible Operating Modes
The device can be set up as an access point or a client station. Integrated LED indicators on the body of the device show the current power status, LAN port activity, and the strength of the received wireless signal. System management is done through an integrated web server with support for SSH, DHCP, and SNMP protocols for network monitoring. The Ping Watchdog feature automatically restarts the connection if a wireless communication failure is detected.
