Ubiquiti PS-5AC-EU

Ubiquiti PS-5AC-EU
The Ubiquiti PS-5AC-EU WiFi antenna transmits a wireless signal in the 5GHz band over a distance of up to 10000m. This outdoor device supports 802.11ac standards and uses WiFi 5 technology. The integrated, shielded airMAX AC radio with airPrism technology isolates the signal from surrounding interference in the 5150 to 5875MHz frequency band. Its IP54-rated construction protects the internal components from the weather. The device meets CE, FCC, IC, and Anatel certifications and consumes 10W.
Key features of the Ubiquiti PS-5AC-EU WiFi antenna
- Antenna gain of 14dBi in the 5GHz band
- Directional design with a 45° radiation pattern
- Dual-linear polarisation for a stable wireless connection
- Transmission speed of 501Mb/s and above
- IP54-rated construction resists outdoor elements
- Dimensions: 155 × 155 × 104mm
- The device itself weighs 0.8kg
Directional WiFi antenna and its radiation pattern
The directional antenna has a 45° radiation pattern and achieves a gain of 14dBi. It transmits in the 5GHz band and uses dual-linear polarisation for a stable connection. The radiation pattern directs the signal to a specific point with low surrounding scatter. The wireless connection range is 10000m with a VSWR of 2:1. The antenna supports frequency ranges of 5150–5875MHz and 2412–2472MHz.
airMAX AC technology and transmission speed
The device supports airMAX AC Mode and channel widths of 30, 50, and 60MHz. The transmission speed is 501Mb/s and above. The integrated airPrism technology actively filters unwanted noise and increases throughput in co-location deployments. The system supports services such as Bridging, DHCP, Routing, SNMP, SSH, and Webserver. Traffic management is handled by QoS with WMM packet classification and High, Medium, and Low priorities.
Durability of the outdoor WiFi antenna
The IP54-certified construction is resistant to dust and splashing water for outdoor use. The device can handle operating temperatures from -40 to 70°C and non-condensing humidity in the range of 5 to 95%. The aerodynamic shape withstands a wind load of 31N at a speed of 200km/h. The body itself weighs 0.8kg, and the supplied pole mounting kit weighs another 0.8kg.
Power and interface
The device features one gigabit RJ45 Ethernet port for network connection and one RF connector for GPS. It is powered via passive 2-pair PoE with 802.3af support and a supported voltage range of 20 to 27V DC. The included gigabit PoE adapter supplies 24V and 1A. Power consumption is 10W. An integrated LED on the device body indicates the power status.
