The TP-Link EAP773 for Omada WiFi access point lets you build high-performance wireless networks in demanding environments. This tri-band access point with Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) support provides a combined transfer speed of up to 9214Mbps. A key feature is the dedicated 6GHz band which, along with the 320MHz channel width, delivers high capacity and low interference. To eliminate bottlenecks in the cable infrastructure, the access point includes a 10Gbps Ethernet port. Full integration into the Omada SDN platform provides centralised cloud management of the entire network infrastructure, including switches and gateways. You can use this cloud-managed access point in high-density client environments such as offices, educational institutions, or hotels. Its compact 22 × 3.25 × 22cm design is optimised for ceiling or wall mounting.

Wi-Fi 7 performance and tri-band operation
The access point operates in tri-band mode with the 802.11be standard and maintains backward compatibility with older devices. Concurrent operation across three frequency bands offers separate speeds: 5760Mbps in the 6GHz band, 2880Mbps in the 5GHz band, and 574Mbps in the 2.4GHz band. Using the 6GHz band and 320MHz channels significantly reduces network congestion. OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies contribute to high performance and transfer efficiency. In addition, the Wi-Fi 7 standard implements key technologies like Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and Multi-RU, which reduce latency and increase interference resistance by aggregating multiple bands and channels for a single client.
Centralised management with the TP-Link EAP773 for Omada WiFi access point
The device fully integrates the Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform, which unifies the management of access points, switches, and routers into a single, clear interface. Management is available locally, via a web browser, or remotely through the cloud and the Omada mobile app. The platform supports intelligent Mesh technology and AI roaming, which automatically manages the transition of clients between individual access points without any connection dropouts. You can easily scale your network coverage by adding more compatible Omada units, simplifying network expansion in large installations.
Security and access control
For wireless network protection, it offers modern encryption protocols, including WPA-Personal/Enterprise and WPA2-Personal/Enterprise. The WPA3 standard provides a higher level of security. To segment the network and enhance security, you can create a separate network for guests (Guest Zone) with its own login portal. The system also offers advanced Access Control, MAC address filtering, and 802.1X support for user authentication via a RADIUS server. VLAN (802.1Q) support contributes to better organisation and security of network traffic in complex corporate environments.
Connectivity options
For connecting to the backbone network, the access point is fitted with one 10Gbps RJ-45 Ethernet port. This high-speed port eliminates a potential bottleneck between the wireless and wired parts of the network and fully utilises the capacity of the Wi-Fi 7 standard. It is flexibly powered by PoE+ (Power over Ethernet, 802.3at standard) technology. This solution handles both data transfer and power over a single Ethernet cable, simplifying installation. Alternatively, you can use a separate 12V DC adapter, which is not included in the package.
