The microscope's compact dimensions of 13 × 4.3 × 2.5 cm allow for easy portability, enabling observation of the world around them, from plant cells and insect anatomy to textile fibres and fossil fragments. The integrated LED lighting with a colour temperature of 7,000–9,000 K is a source of cool white light. The field of view can be set to 1mm or 0.7mm. Apps for both iOS and Android are, of course, available.
