The STATUS Viva 0.5L vacuum container helps to extend the freshness and shelf life of your stored food. Thanks to vacuum sealing, which limits oxidation, your meals stay fresh up to four times longer. The container is made of borosilicate glass, which is characterised by its high temperature resistance from -20°C to +300°C. You can safely use it in the freezer, oven, and microwave. For easy cleaning afterwards, it is also dishwasher-safe.

Versatile use from the freezer to the oven
The container's base is made of borosilicate glass, which stands out for its resistance to thermal shock. This lets you move seamlessly between storing and preparing food. You can place your meal directly from the freezer into a preheated oven or heat it in the microwave (without the lid for a maximum of 2 minutes). After use, the entire container, including the lid, can be put in the dishwasher, which saves you time on maintenance. Additionally, the rectangular shape and stackable design help you to efficiently organise space in your fridge and pantry.
Functional vacuum system
The container features a tempered glass lid, complemented by a silicone seal and a vacuum valve. To create a vacuum, you need to use a STATUS manual or electric vacuum pump, or a vacuum sealer with a container-sealing function. These accessories are not included in the package. Once the air is removed, an airtight environment is created that slows down food spoilage, prevents odours from spreading in the fridge, and protects the contents from moisture. This helps food retain its flavour, aroma, and nutritional value for a significantly longer time.
Always remove the lid when heating in a microwave. The vacuum pump or sealer is not included and must be purchased separately.
