This metal structure, made from an aluminium alloy, serves as a base for attaching external accessories when shooting video. Integrated mounting points and a top handle expand your setup with additional accessories like microphones, lights, or monitors. The underside features an Arca-Swiss standard quick-release plate for fast mounting onto compatible DJI RS series gimbals and tripod heads. The kit also includes a clamp to secure an HDMI cable.

Secure mounting and body protection
The aluminium alloy cage wraps around the camera body, protecting it from mechanical damage. The two-point locking system secures the camera via a bottom screw and a side lock, preventing it from twisting. Internal rubber pads prevent scratching of the camera's surface during assembly and use. Precise cut-outs maintain full access to all controls, slots, and the battery compartment.
Easy handling
The kit includes a shaped top handle that makes it easier to carry the camera and shoot from low angles. The handle attaches to the top of the cage using an ARRI locating thread, which prevents it from coming loose. The contoured grip helps you to guide the shot steadily when shooting handheld. The handle body also features additional mounting threads for attaching monitor mounts.
Interface for connecting accessories
The cage includes a range of 1/4"-20 and ARRI 3/8"-16 threaded mounting points for installing accessories. Users can attach side handles, arms for monitors, or external power sources. A built-in cold shoe makes it easy to slide on wireless microphones or LED lights. The bottom QD port is used to quickly clip on a shoulder strap for carrying.
Quick-release system
An integrated NATO standard rail with HawkLock technology speeds up the mounting of compatible accessories. This system works with quick-release mechanisms for a firm attachment of side handles or monitor mounts. A safety pin prevents accessories from accidentally sliding off the rail during handling. This lets the user change the setup configuration in seconds without any tools.
Quick transition between tripod and gimbal
The bottom part consists of an integrated quick-release plate compatible with the Arca-Swiss system. This plate fits directly into selected DJI RS series gimbals without needing to mount additional plates. The seamless transition from handheld to tripod saves time when shooting on location. The system also supports quick-release bases with an auto-lock function.
Secure data transfer
The package includes an adjustable HDMI cable clamp that protects the camera's port from breaking. The clamp attaches to the side of the cage with screws and firmly grips the cable connector. This element prevents accidental signal disconnection when recording to an external recorder. A stable data connection is crucial for seamless video monitoring.
