HawkLock quick-release system
The design includes an integrated NATO rail that supports the HawkLock quick-release system. Two-point cage locking
A stable camera attachment is ensured by a 1/4"-20 bottom screw combined with a side locking block. This locking system prevents any unwanted twisting of the camera inside the cage, while the internal silicone padding protects the camera's surface from scratches and scuffs. The cage can be installed directly onto the body without having to remove the original triangular strap eyelets.
Arca-Swiss plate integration
The bottom of the cage features an integrated Arca-Swiss standard quick-release plate. This lets you quickly switch between a tripod and DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro, or RS 4 Mini stabilisers. The bottom quick-release plate works in conjunction with the HawkLock H38 Arca-Swiss mounting plate ID 4486. This combination supports a quick slide-in with auto-locking, speeding up configuration changes right on set.
Cage ergonomics
The cage's design considers ergonomics for long periods of handheld shooting. A hinged arm on the battery door provides extra support for the little finger of your right hand and improves the overall grip on the camera. Precise cutouts in the metal frame maintain full, unrestricted access to all connectors, dials, function buttons, and memory card slots.
Accessory mounting interface
The cage connects a wide variety of external equipment. It includes numerous 1/4″ and 3/8″ threads, ARRI locating holes, a cold shoe, and a bottom QD socket. Practical cage details
The manufacturer has attached a flat-head Allen key directly to the bottom of the cage. This integrated tool is always on hand for quickly tightening or completely disassembling the entire camera rig in the field. The manufacturer used a combination of aluminium alloy, stainless steel, and silicone elements to build the frame.
