You need to consider which version is sufficient for you. Even though the FLEX50 has 1Gbps ports its firewall throughput to the Internet is only 350Mbps. If you have a fiber optic line from ISP it may not be enough for all applications. For our VDSL bonding line 250Mbps is just right. I had the previous model for 7 years on the internet at a public address and prevented all attacks. I am happy with Zyxell firewalls. The setup is more for a technician familiar with firewalls.
