I’m not an experienced user and this is my first projector. We spend the whole summer in the pergola, so we had the idea of getting a projector so we could watch films and sport outdoors. Like proper Czechs, we decided that something cheap for around 1,000 CZK would do just fine. After all, we’re not exactly asking for top-quality picture, sound and so on. We’re not fussy. First of all, we ordered a projector for 1,000 CZK. That was impossible. Then a projector for 2,000 CZK. Perhaps it wasn’t possible to do even more. We were more annoyed than we were enjoying ourselves. We were still fine-tuning the picture, making brackets and so on. Whilst watching the film, I was focusing on the visuals rather than the plot. So I got annoyed and decided I’d just splash out a bit more and bought an XGIMI (what a dreadful name). I can’t say whether this projector is better or worse than the competition at this price, but I do know for certain that watching films in the pergola is now the experience we’d imagined. Is that not possible?

The sound is good, but it doesn’t quite match the quality of external speakers. I’m only writing this so that nobody tries to use it as a party box
