I'm very happy with the backpack, and I enjoy the many organizational pockets. I was surprised by the side bottle pocket. It's big enough and at the same time, if you don't have water in it, it aligns with the backpack thanks to the magnet and doesn't spoil the design impression of the expanded pocket. In case I want a backpack for a longer trip, the main pocket can be expanded and fits a lot of stuff. In its basic size, the backpack doesn't look sturdy, which is what I expected from it. The main pocket has about 7 pockets in total, 2 in the front, 2 in the back, 1 at the bottom and one on each side, so it can be perfectly organized. There is also a main pocket inside the front to the reinforced front, which is solved by a zipper. The main pocket has only one disadvantage, if you need to climb into the backpack often, so the pocket has to be opened more, because of the solid construction you can't reach in there and the backpack has no front pocket from the outside to which these things could be transferred. Then there's another pocket right on the back for your wallet and keys for quick yet secure access for the backpack owner. All that's left is the side pocket opposite the bottle pocket. A little bit fits in there for quick access, but it's not a hit parade. In terms of carrying, the backpack is very comfortable. The back is breathable enough and the shape of the backpack still looks great on your back, even when half empty, thanks to the solid construction. I like the main pocket extension solution. In case you need to put more stuff in the backpack unexpectedly, the expansion to 25l is just enough. By downsizing or opting for 18l, the backpack is not that huge, which you can use for daily carry to work for example. What I also have to appreciate is the laptop pocket. It's split, so you can put both a tablet (or portable monitor) and a laptop in it. The laptop pocket is sufficiently padded around the edges and in the corners and at the same time insulated, which will come in handy on cold days. I also tested the rain load and the backpack passed with flying colours. I recommend the backpack even though it is overpriced, so I don't regret buying it. The design is something between sports and urban style, so it doesn't hurt to take it to the gym, to work, to the city, etc. The star down is only because it is not an anti-lift backpack and the main pocket is less accessible anyway. If XD had solved this, I would have given 5 stars when I bought the new model.
