I was skeptical until the last moment, but I had to admit that the effect on the sound is abysmal. I had the speakers connected with a normal two-line and after a few weeks of tuning and labs I got the most out of them. So I thought I' d try a better cable to make sure it' s just a wire like any other and won' t make a difference. I didn' t notice that there was only one cable in the package, so I was quite disappointed at first, but it was actually to the benefit of the cause. I connected one speaker with this cable and left the other on the original one. The difference was huge. The original speaker suddenly sounded like it was locked in a bathroom cabinet, even though it didn' t feel that way to me before. But after connecting with this cable, the speaker began to play many more sounds, all rendered in the finest detail and all perfectly clear. So I' ve replaced the cables on all the speakers I have at home for listening to music with these and I' m completely satisfied. The cable may seem expensive, but Audio Quest, for example, puts silver on the surface of the wires up to tens of thousands of cables. I don' t know how much the cable will affect the sound of cheap speakers or a low quality amplifier. I connected it to AQ Labrador 29MKIII, Labrador 39 and GoldenEar Aon3 and amplifiers all class AB. Arcam A5 and Fonestar AS-6060. All fed with studio-quality 192kHz / 24-bit recordings from Tidal via Wiim Pro and Wiim Pro Plus via Audio Quest tower link. And even a layman can recognize the result. It felt like the first time I played 44kHz FLAC instead of MP3. I plan to try it on the AQ Tango 95 on the Marantz Cinema 60 receiver to try a lower quality setup.
