A great image, but also many flies. It is not suitable for normal use as a security camera for the above reasons. Max. somewhere in a cottage or indoors where minimal movement in front of the camera is expected.

Mostly great high resolution images day and night.

Magnetic attachment

Tristic battery life. It won't even last 24 hours in a slightly busier place!

Does not support ONVIF! (image only in Tapo) No NAS, no HA. At the time I bought the camera here, the description said it supported ONVIF, but they've corrected that in the description. No TP-Link battery cameras support ONVIF.

Quite often it does not register any obvious movement at all. Resp, it detects a moving object on the screen in broad daylight and ideal conditions, but the event record is not saved at all. I've witnessed it several times. On the contrary, it sometimes records without anything moving in the picture (complete stillness) Reliability as a security camera is therefore very questionable.

The power connector is not waterproof if a power cable is connected to it (not counting the cable from the TP-LINK solar panel, I guess it is somehow solved there). I had to fuse it with silicone.

Problem with charging via a longer cable (you need an expensive USB repeater).

Paid cloud to use 100% of features (not required).

Occasionally it switches from 4K to 720p (even though I have the settings set to 4K)

The product works satisfactorily. Sometimes there is a problem with the signal even when the camera is close to the router but everything is OK within limits. Battery life is more like between 30 - 50 days and definitely not 200. And if you still activate 24/7 it's more like 15 - 25 days. I would not recommend 24/7 operation without a purchased solar panel. But the biggest disappointment is the lack of ONVIF support. Even though Alza insisted on it and it is written in the description so the camera since it is battery operated ONVIF is supported. I bought it just for this reason and this function is missing in the c460. Before buying, I recommend reading the official Tapo website to make sure the same thing doesn't happen to you.
