Basically as I described the pros and cons. Just in general be careful about running all Deco stuff in AP mode (i.e. I have my separate router and Deco are just WiFi "antennas"). If you have the Smart DHCP switch option, turn it off! (And if not, you're out of luck). Otherwise, in case you are doing something with the router and the DHCP server is not running on the network, Deco decides after some time to take the initiative and finishes the network. The solution is to turn off all Deca, then turn on the router and then Deca. In that case, I'll turn off all the switches just in case. WiFi mesh works well, but a wire is a wire, so if you have the option (and flat ethernet cables are magically flexible), stretch wires between the decks and wire everything that has a hole for a wire.
