What I like most about the little owl is that it's not just an ordinary soft toy. It can talk with the children, answer their questions, and make up fairy tales. It's also great that it remembers the child's name and communicates in Czech. It's pleasant to the touch and seems to be good quality. For me, it's a very successful combination of fun and learning. It's also brilliant for learning English, as the kids can practise vocabulary and simple phrases in a playful way.

It's basically a very basic Chat GPT in an owl costume. For its declared use and target audience of 3+, it's a bit of a waste of money. They can't have a chat with it, it doesn't understand them, and then it replies with nonsense, so the kids aren't interested in it – in fact, it's more frustrating and confusing for them. (Often, it doesn't even understand an adult properly.) I can only see it being useful from about age 6, or if used with a parent. In our house, we have several children aged between 3 and 9, and the owl is just sitting unnoticed on the wardrobe. The idea is nice, the execution not so much. It's probably more of a helper for parents (for simple explanations of information) than a toy.

It doesn't understand - requires precise pronunciation, so it understands a preschool-aged child very poorly - unusable.
The Czech language model is poor and the responses are nonsensical (e.g. it pronounces the exclamation “Óóó!” as “long o, long o, long o!”).

Strange choice of voices – the only one that's really usable is the male one (an owl with a man's voice is a pretty weird combination at first, but at least it's quite pleasant to listen to compared to the others).
