has been running 24/7 for about half a year

System shr is great

you can get optics in there for a few bucks. the official one is really expensive, but otherwise you can buy a screen for 1500 approx.

It can handle even the largest drives today and volumes over 200tb only you must have at least 16/32gb memory. You can buy it for a few crowns when it's not official. that office will be back in about 5 times

their system is simply top...Many people on the web swear that synology sells sh*t hardware for big prices, but in my opinion we buy NAS for functionality and ux. I don't know about others, but I mainly want to set it up easily and make it a functional UI and I'll pay extra so I don't have to fiddle with configs and stuff. I get enough of that at work.

You can throw in an extension box for 5 more disks

I don't even know if it belongs to the controversy, but if you add a 24tb disk to an existing shr2 it will chug for a week. I'm not exaggerating: D
