The headphones at a price of around 600 CZK with a five-star rating and a lot of praise reviews impressed me so much that I decided to buy them as a replacement for another outdated model. On the packaging, the headphones boast the inscription "Professional monitor", so expectations were high: -) The first slight disappointment came when unpacking. The packaging consists of only one hard central cardboard box in which the headphones are inserted, and it is so tight that after unpacking, the cardboard grooves remain pressed into the earbuds, as you can see in the photos. The grooves did not disappear the next day either, and will probably stay there forever. The second, much bigger disappointment came after connecting the headphones to the music source. Unfortunately, the sound is considerably and unpleasantly coloured in the upper mids, the whole upper range sounds tinny in the headphones. This is most likely due to the more than 10dB increase in sensitivity between 5kHz and 10kHz, which can be seen in the measurement characteristics of these headphones available on the Internet. The deep tones are relatively undistorted, but it is definitely not a "powerful bass response" as it is stated on the cover. The sensitivity of the headphones 98dB is rather lower by today's standards, but sufficient for waking up from a regular player or amplifier. The headphones are lightweight, sit well on the head and do not press or creak anywhere. When putting on, the head bridge easily adjusts itself to the size of the head, and even after prolonged wearing it does not press significantly because it is wide enough. However, the ear cups could be a little softer. The connection cord is long and soft enough, with a fairly good-looking gold-plated screw-on 6.3mm jack reducer. To sum up briefly, for the price, these are quite good headphones mechanically. The sound presentation will not offend the undemanding listener, but for a true musical experience I recommend choosing another model or adjusting the characteristics with a multiband equalizer. Then they are surprisingly good at playing. In the evaluation I was deciding between three and four stars, and in the end I give three because of the unnecessary deformation of the earpieces due to the improper way of packaging the headphones from the factory.
