I really wanted to like the headphones and tried very hard to justify the purchase to myself. Primarily due to the high price and the quite hilarious design. Unfortunately after a week of use I returned them completely disappointed. I completely don't understand the reviews I saw before buying, which only very marginally pointed out the NC mode noise. I don't think I have significantly above average hearing, but the very audible, constant "white" noise in NC mode was completely unbearable for me in a product for the money. I buy expensive headphones with the expectation of high quality and a good experience of reproduced music. These headphones completely fail at this. None of the 3 modes (Noise-Canceling, Ambient or Default without effect) provide a comfortable listening experience. With noise cancellation off, at the slightest micro movement the headphone material makes a rather loud sound when rubbed against the ears and head and is very distracting. Ambient sound naturally sucks in all the noise from the surroundings and often amplifies it, which again does not make for a good listening experience and I have already described the problem with NC. I don't quite understand the success in reviews of these headphones. I bought a higher model xm5 in exchange, which is much more expensive, but it almost eliminates all the above mentioned problems. NoiseCanceling still produces a faint high-pitched noise/tone, but compared to the XM4 it can be considered virtually inaudible. Considering the price even after the BlackFriday discounts, I REALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

BUT! The ear just has to get used to it, and after a while it started to spin. I have headphones for a week and I didn' t actually take them off the stick. I go with them everywhere. I used the Jabra Elite 75t (I have been faithful to the 3rd generation Jabre) for their ANC, compactness and actually quite good sound. Only with Sony has that changed a lot. ANC has no mistake. Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like Sony360 aint for me either. A lot of people cry to reproduce the sound, that it is distorted, redesigned, it does not have aptX, that pairing with two devices reduces the quality, etc. -> so buy a cable! And listen through Fiio and Tidal! For me, it has very little illness Bluetooth (even connected to Windows, PS4 via Creative BT3-W) do not feel delayed, pairing with two devices via the application is actually easier than debugging through the phone settings, etc. - just mark only those sources that you want and done! Sure, for the current 6400, you can find better headphones, better sound, more codecs, nicer colors, more comfortable operation, but the face won' t make me take these XM4s back and back. ANC is absolutely god, the sound after a few minutes is also natural (I do not use the equalizer) and most importantly they are very comfortable. I have a Huawei phone and aptX is taboo for me (Qualcomm - ban) so I go through LDAC (which is still the best) and honestly, I know the difference between Spotify max-quality and Tidal Master quality only occasionally. Definitely not enough for Tidal to pay, and it actually eats up mobile data and the flashlight. Not to mention 990kbps via BT at the highest LDAC settings (one has to go to the Android development menu and the iPhone) - there are gaps at 5 meters from the phone. But these are all problems that neither the headphones nor Sony, but my untrained ear and physics are behind. Likewise, the complaint that when two devices are connected, the headphones fall into the SBC code and do not remain in the LDAC. and how should they do it physically? If someone has it (trained ear) then these are definitely not audiophile headphones, but if someone has it (money) then these are the best BT headphones I have had the opportunity to try.
