The manual is the epitome of trying to save anywhere anything at all: such a small detail, that to connect the socket it is necessary to attach the mobile phone to about 2cm to it (50cm from the socket is not caught) the manufacturer forgot to mention completely, so great experimentation before one figures it out. On the positive side, the socket is supposed to pull 10A (approx. 2.3kW), which it does.
