BUT I can' t shake the feeling that this is reinventing the wheel, only worse. First of all, the rice cooker is much larger than other rice cookers with the same internal container volume (there is a reason for this because of all the seals, etc. ). When cooking rice, the water will not foam, thanks to the sophisticated system of seals and the lid - BUT instead, the water from the rice can swell in those seals, which you must (and this is also stated in the instructions) practically disassemble and clean after every cooking - which is for me, worse than washing a regular rice cooker and the worktop with a damp sponge. Moreover, after the end of the process, the device, like other rice cookers, switches to the " keep warm" mode, but at the same time the electronics start to emit a terrible squeal and the machine is so unnecessarily noisy (while nothing actually happens, it just switched to keep warm, which is signaled by a diode as well as the most common rice cookers - for which the diode is enough and does not need to beep). I probably wouldn' t choose him next time. Or maybe yes - if it were my only appliance in a small apartment, for example, and I would also use the other functions. As a separate rice cooker, however, probably not - there I will appreciate the simplicity and uncomplicatedness of a single-purpose device, I would rather wipe the foamed water with a sponge than disassemble the sealing system.
