We have had the smaller Siguro 301 rice cooker for a year now (0,6 l container volume) and we are very satisfied with it. It's big enough for two of us to cook rice, even one scoop is more than enough, it's more like three servings. The steamer is great - I put in two sliced raw potatoes, a sausage leg and some vegetables, like broccoli florets or frozen spinach or a handful of green beans, and I have a great lunch in no time. But that's lunch for one. That's why we bought the larger 701 version with a 1.5 l container. And we were discussing before how big is the warbler, because the descriptions were different. So - the steamer in 301 has an inner diameter of 14 cm and in 701 it is 15,5 cm. I would also like to point out that the scoop is really almost invisible and we fished it out of the garbage glued to the Styrofoam.
I pour in the rinsed rice, add water, close the lid and don't do anything else. Not like I used to, when I was always running to the stove to see if it was boiling, overflowing, not boiling, etc. Huge time and (my) energy savings.
More features I'm just discovering, but I'm already excited.
If you don't catch the time signal, you can't tell at a glance whether the rice is cooked or is being reheated. You can tell if time is running out or running up.
So far, I find that the rice dries out on top when reheating, so we don't use this feature and watch the end.
I try to avoid cookware with a non-stick surface, but here the basic offer is only Teflon cookware and others only in theory, not yet available.
