The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is a very comfortable smartwatch that's pleasant to wear throughout the day. Its main advantage is the excellent, bright and easy-to-read display. The welcome changes and improvements in the One UI 9 system are noticeable at first glance and the controls feel smooth and modern. However, I do wish it had a larger battery capacity and longer life on a single charge. That's why I rate the watch very positively, but it's not absolutely perfect.

Unfortunately, the battery still isn't at max capacity and lasts about 3 days without AOD.

Beautiful, easy-to-read display.
Strong battery.
It's a shame that the straps from older watches can't be used.

I've had the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 on my wrist for a while now and, honestly, I have to say I'm really enjoying it. The titanium body feels incredibly sturdy in person and has survived a few hard knocks without a scratch. But what impressed me the most is the display – it's beautifully readable in direct sunlight, and the system response is instant, with no lag anywhere. With normal use and exercise, the battery easily lasts for several days, so I don't need to have a charger with me all the time anymore. For me personally, these are the best Android watches I've ever had.

First impressions, the transition to the new Ultra from my older one went smoothly, including apps, mobile plan, and payments. I had to enable the G-board keyboard, as Samsung stubbornly insists on its own, which unfortunately doesn't support voice input in Czech. The watch is snappier and faster. I haven't had a chance to appreciate the brighter display, as the brightness on my older one already seemed sufficient to me. I'm very impressed with the increased battery capacity and life – I'd estimate maybe twice as long with the same usage. As for charging, I don't know the total time from a dead battery, but the watch no longer accepted my triple SWAN charger. The charger that came with the watch indicates fast charging, the charger from my older Ultra just says charging, and an even older Samsung puck indicates slow charging. On the downside, so far, it's probably just the price…
Extended battery life
I find the strap comfier.
Option to protect the battery
I'm still missing the bezel

I've owned all the previous generations of the Galaxy Watch, so I'm in a good position to compare the new model with its predecessors. The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 has made an excellent impression on me so far, and I'm extremely satisfied with it. I really appreciate the high-quality, premium finish, the durable construction, the beautiful and easy-to-read display, and the fast, smooth interface. The watch offers a huge number of functions for sports, health tracking, and general everyday use. The redesigned Samsung Wearable app is also a pleasant change. It's clearer, making the watch setup and management more convenient. The connection with a Samsung phone works brilliantly, and the whole ecosystem is one of the main reasons I'm sticking with the Galaxy Watch. Based on my experience with all previous generations, I'd say the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is a very well-made model so far, and I can recommend it.

For many years I used the Apple ecosystem exclusively, but this year I switched to the Samsung Fold 7 and have now bought the Galaxy Watch Ultra2. Given that I wore the Apple Watch Ultra for several years, I have a pretty good basis for comparison (at least from the very beginning). The watch feels more comfortable on the wrist, mainly thanks to the better strap (it's definitely softer and conforms better to the shape of the wrist). I see a significant step up in the health functions – they are more sophisticated and, most importantly, presented in an easy-to-understand way, so even an average user with no expert knowledge can make sense of the measured values (the graphics are so intuitive that you understand what you're actually looking at). What surprised me most were the measurement sensors. I have a tattoo on my forearm, and the watch still measured my body functions without any problems. This didn't work with the Apple Watch Ultra, and I had to use a clear sticker placed over the sensor (from Shein) for measurements and sports. I have yet to see how the watch will perform under prolonged athletic strain, but my first impressions are definitely positive (I was a bit hesitant about whether it was worth buying – but I have no regrets 😊).
Better ergonomics than the Apple Watch Ultra
A more comfortable strap
The health functions are clear and presented in an understandable way (I have a Fold7).
Measures bodily functions even with a tattoo on the forearm (at least it works for me)
I haven't tested it for longer periods during sports yet, so I still need to verify its battery life and accuracy during exercise.

Hello, I've only had the watch for a short time, so some aspects of its use will only become apparent with longer testing. But as for the material and how beautifully it fits my wrist (I have a larger wrist), it's definitely A*. And I personally like the overall design too (but that's a very personal matter). The battery looks like it will definitely last 2–3 days (so good job, in my opinion). And the display is a joy to look at even in bright light - it's truly gorgeous. For me, the main disadvantage of Samsung watches is that they still keep some health functions exclusive to Samsung phones (for that money, every user should get 100% of all functions). If it weren't for those limited health functions, I'd give it 5 stars, because otherwise, it's a really great product.

After a few days of use, I'm very satisfied with the Galaxy Watch Ultra2. The watch feels high-quality and premium, and despite its larger size, it fits surprisingly well on the wrist. What I appreciate most is the beautiful, bright display, which is easily readable even outdoors in the sun, and the fast, smooth controls. The wealth of sports and health functions, sleep tracking, and connectivity with my Samsung phone are also a big plus. I was also pleased with the battery life, which is very decent for such a feature-packed watch. I see the higher price as a minor drawback, and the charging could be faster. Overall, though, the watch met my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a durable and well-equipped smartwatch for everyday use and sport.

I owned a Watch 7 and I must say, this is a leap forward. I waited five days before writing this review so I could form at least some opinion on the battery life, which was probably what interested me the most, and I have to say, it's a decent improvement. I'm not saying it couldn't be even better, but for me (it will obviously vary individually depending on usage), 4 days plus a small reserve is a respectable amount of time. The max battery saving function is also good; when activated, the watch only charges to 90%. All this while maintaining sufficiently small dimensions, which is a definite plus. The display is, as expected, excellent. I didn't really expect anything else; Samsung is number one here. The readability in direct sunlight is simply brilliant, and I like that even when I set Always On, it can switch to a power-saving mode, which saves the battery. Regarding the body, I'm glad the strap is recessed into it, because with the Watch 7, I found that you'd knock the body and you'd immediately see scuffs. Here, the body is just nicely compact, with nothing extra sticking out. The much-discussed shape, a circle in a square with rounded corners – well, when I saw it in a picture, I also didn't know what to think, but you have to have it on your wrist to understand. It's simply a beautiful piece that stands out from the rest in terms of design. I personally welcome the absence of a mechanical bezel. Similarly, I like that the two speaker holes are in the middle of the body and not right at the edge near the wrist, where sweat would get in during exercise; this is definitely a better solution. Wireless charging is standard and, for me, certainly better than the contact charging on other brands. It's probably not even worth mentioning that the best connection for the watch is with a Samsung phone; everything works surprisingly well, even though I was expecting a few teething problems as with any new device. Yes, the price is high, but I dare say this watch is worth it.
It sits nicely on the hand
The silver finish looks luxurious
The most noticeable improvement is probably the battery.
protection against dust and water
system speed
I haven't come across anything yet
