I bought the phone based on the need for a new one after the S22 model. I also thought about the iPhone, due to the comparable price with Samsung, but in the end I chose Samsung again. I didn't try the phone because it was new on the market, but I compared the Samsung s25 and the latest iPhone 17. Again, it handled better and the photos seemed to me to be of better quality and more realistic. Thanks to a promotion where the price of the lower memory was the higher, I did not hesitate. I hope it will serve me well, just like the s22 served me for almost 6 years.
Nice design, holds well in the hand
Faster processor
Better performance
Battery
Higher capacity 500gb (bought on sale at a lower capacity price)
Migration from Telegon s22 is one-step, intuitive
The transition from s22 is significant; )
Coccyxes sticking out by the camera, but nothing too bad
Price
Classically packaged without charger

After a previous experience of 3 years with the s21fe it was not possible to reach for another brand than Samsung. The vision of long term support and performance combined with cameras that definitely do not offend (but for example on the ultra model do not). If the new chip has any flaws on 2nm technology will be shown only in time, so far it seems that it can be equal to the most powerful that the competition offers. The only thing I regret about the phone is that it is a bit oppressed by its bigger brother S26 ultra. But since there aren't that many new features, it's understandable. I just think it's a shame. Put at least two interesting new features in there, it would be 5 stars. I hope that the next generation will come up with something new even in this compact version (by today's standards). But definitely if you go that older phone like I did, you won't go wrong.
Battery upgrade
Size absolutely ideal
Power
AI features
Repetitive design
Some features from s26 ultra are missing

Switching from a Samsung Galaxy s21, it's a lot of big difference, the smoothness and speed of the display excellent, in the sunlight well legible. The phone fits perfectly in your hand and fits easily in your pocket. The battery lasts all day. The camera compared to my old phone is a big step forward. If one uses a Samsung phone I definitely recommend the Samsung Galaxy s26.

I am not a fan of the brand, but simply a user who is used to a certain standard. From the S26 I get exactly what I expected - a reliable tool without having to learn new tricks. After the S3mini, S5, S7, S20FE and S23, this is the next in the S lineup that will hopefully show me that it wasn't just a purchase for more memory. The switch from S23 to S26 makes a lot of sense to me. Even more so if you increase your memory capacity.
Storage: Thanks to a special offer, I finally got the capacity I needed at a reasonable price (512 instead of 256).
Camera: Still top notch for my needs. Now I have to test it in real life to see if it brings a real revolution against S23.
Ergonomics: The design is not much different from the S23. Boring for some, for me an advantage - I don't have to get used to a different grip or control.
Batteries: The first feelings from the endurance are positive. Time and stress will tell. We'll talk when he's as old as my S23.
Switching between phones: The data migration went smoothly. I just hope that my feeling that the old phone will "miraculously" age faster after the arrival of a newer successor is not confirmed.
AI: I use AI to some extent and am happy with it. But I don't expect to make full use of it.
The lack of an SD card slot is still a big minus for me. I find it a "put-down" of the user, which is hard to get used to. If Samsung offered a combination of large internal memory at a decent price and kept the SD card expansion option, I believe there would be record demand for such a phone.

I switched to the S26 from an older galaxy S model. In this regard, samsung has fine-tuned the conversion of all apps/data. I was also pleasantly surprised by the weight of the phone. Overall, the phone looks compact, which is a big plus for this flag. Using the phone is smooth, the phone responds promptly and without delays - but that's kind of expected. What disappointed me is the camera - compared to the older generation galaxy S I don't see much of a shift here in real terms, especially for the user who doesn't want to play with the camera settings for 5 minutes to get the best result. Likewise, within the first few days of using the phone, I notice that the battery may not have the battery life that one would expect - even when you're not using the phone to watch videos, play games, etc. Overall, this is a great phone that is above average in many areas. However, as part of the samsung flagship, the phone would deserve a better camera and maybe a better battery/faster charging.

I chose the phone as a replacement for the SONY, which I was happy with because of its relatively small size, seamless one-handed operation. The S26 could be a little narrower, but it's OK for one-handed holding. The height is fine, on the contrary, it is even slightly lower, which I appreciate (it fits normally in your pocket: -)). I'm pleasantly surprised at how quick the responses are and the whole compatibility thing. Setup fairly intuitive (first Samsung). The display impressed me as well as the sound, I'm curious to see how the battery will hold up over time. For me a great choice now.
quality display - perfect picture
ideal size for one hand
light weight and ideal size
wireless charging
perfect sound
fast reactions
a big step forward for me
wide range of accessories
more protruding camera lens
I struggled a bit with the settings when dragging and dropping data from the original SONY

Transition from S24. It's more nimble and doesn't mind being a little bigger. I'm a casual user, so it's important to me that he kept the min. the standard I was already used to. But we would have welcomed more battery life and magnetic charging right in the phone, even if the phone were to be a bit wider again. It's a shame.
responds faster
more storage at a better price
magsafe only with special cover
small battery capacity

There is probably nothing to fault him. The last few years have been all about small steps forward. We'll see how Exynos behaves after prolonged use.

I've been playing with the phone for a few days and here are a few observations from the transition from the S24 to the S26. Smart Switch is a good helper in the Samsung ecosystem when transferring data to a new phone, it will transfer almost everything. You just have to log in again, set up your banking and wallet. Then a couple of Google apps also need to be reinstalled for the Gemini link to work properly, for me it was Google Maps, Keep, Google App and Google Home. I don't know why, but without reinstalling it, Assistant popped up instead of Gemini. Now to the new S26 phone. The OneUI 8.5 body nice, everything is smooth, offers a lot of customization options. The system is stable and so far I haven't encountered any major glitches or bugs. It's a more powerful chip, more storage space compared to the S24, more memory. Galaxy AI inconsistent when English is not available, which I don't understand why, when Swedish is available and they have +/- the same population. It's not that I don't speak English, but in everyday use it's better to communicate in the native language. Bixby is about nothing and why the extra Perplexity I have no idea. What saddens me is the same camera, no progression, and that mentioned charging, that they didn't speed it up a bit also hurts. The lack of magnets doesn't matter, they make the cases with a magnet and that solves it. Battery life is surprisingly good so far. The workmanship, yeah, that's pretty good. Overall an excellent phone, the transition from the S24 doesn't dazzle, on the other hand after transferring data to the new phone you get a mirrored setup, and a familiar environment, which is fine.
Power
Battery life
System fluidity, OneUI 8.5 superstructure
Long system update warranty
same camera, no change from S24
charging speed unchanged
