For a "Gaming" headset, this is a decent headset. I mean, you can get other (non-Gaming) headphones with better sound for that price, but if you want an all-in-one solution, you probably won't find anything better for under 3K. As a daily listener on the Sony WH-1000XM3, I recommend the Kraken no problem for listening to games, movies and a bit of music. If you mainly listen to music, I recommend looking elsewhere. But the Krakens are really structurally sound headphones. I mean, not any platypuses that will crack in a few years and the soft elements will crack/peel. Earmuffs can be replaced. Razer provides a replacement.
