For 1300, it's a great buy for me. I'm glad I paid extra compared to the basic model.
Connection via the 2.4 dongle, via BT, and via cable all work as they should.
4 programmable macro buttons
Even with the backlighting on, it easily lasts a long gaming session.
Backlight intensity and vibration settings
Fits nicely into the docking station, I don't have to faff around with a cable
The user manual is a complete disaster – the connection types are described very confusingly (X-input? D-input? There's no explanation) and some functions (automatic shutdown, trigger stiffness switches) aren't addressed in the manual at all.
The USB dongle has a bright green LED. If you don't have it plugged into the back of the computer, but somewhere at the front or on your desk, you'll need to cover it with tape or tuck it under something.

Honestly, this controller seems almost too good to be true, because the accessories alone would cost at least a third of the price if bought separately. It feels good to hold, seems sturdy, and looks nice. I'm really curious to see how long it will last. The package includes a charging station and a case that fits all the accessories (alternative D-pads, alternative thumbstick caps, USB cable, dongle, and an alternative faceplate). The faceplate is held on by magnets and is easy to swap out; under the faceplate in the right-hand grip, there's a cutout for storing the dongle. So far, I've tested the controller on PC and a Steam Deck connected to the TV. When connected to the Deck via BT, it was able to wake the Steam Deck from sleep by pressing the HOME button.
looks robust
Lots of accessories included in the box
connection via cable, dongle and BT
option to change X/D/Steam input (PC mode only, so dongle or cable required)
I haven't figured out how to change the joystick caps yet, it's not mentioned in the manual.
Alza doesn't offer alternative faceplates yet

for this price, it's an absolute steal. It works, looks and feels fantastic. We'll see how long it lasts.
Backlight (including ABXY) - great for newbies
fits perfectly in the hand
lasts for an all-day session
looks nice
spare caps and it fits well
travel case
charging stations
doesn't click loudly enough to be disturbing
The extra buttons are perfectly reachable with your fingers and aren't pressed “by accident” during frantic action.
It connects to a PC via BT as a Nintendo Switch controller (only as an Xbox controller via a dongle). This isn't a fault, but a feature.
I haven't figured out how to get the bottom buttons working yet (Windows sees them and they work, but the game doesn't register them, but that's probably down to my inexperience)
