It works fine, except it doesn't heat the heating element: (
Amazing product, out of the box it managed to work for a full 30 minutes, just consider! So now I'm gonna pack that big-ass box back up and send it back.
For the money I would expect some melding of the drawer with the body of the device, on one side it protrudes about 5mm

The manual is pictorial on 3 pages. Which is not a bug, but a manufacturer. You will get 4 more little books, all just for the guarantee. Nowhere does it say how to proceed with the fryer. Where to put the oil and how to proceed when the product is frozen.

perfect fries
the fries are dry and without excess fat (it should be taken into account that the taste compared to frying in oil is slightly different), so the original taste of the food stands out - e.g. you can taste the potato flavour in the fries
never pan frying again, I'm very satisfied, I've also tried fish fingers and they are juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside
easy operation
easy maintenance (but you need to read the instructions)
no oil aftertaste
the food is ready quickly
for me I do not see any serious flaws on the use; I think it's worth mentioning for buyers that the food is really drier and you have to prepare for it, not everyone might like it, but that's the whole point of hot air frying and I like it that way
it's well packed, but the packaging is cube-shaped and there are no handles on it, it's quite hard to carry

the fryer is indeed excellent, people's reviews on YouTube and elsewhere really do not lie !: -)
fries food evenly, t. j. golden and crispy on the outside, soft and tasty on the inside as it should be
contains 5 preset programs, including the "Meat" program which is not included in the newer HD9867/90 model !
compared to other fryers, this basket is shaped more in width than in depth, which is an advantage when preparing e.g. slices of meat, cheese or cutlets, or with the basket divider for 2 dishes at once. the food is evenly browned, there is no need to shake or turn the food as much as with narrow and deep basket fryers
the star design of the bottom of the basket really works and makes a marked difference in the length and result of food preparation compared to other fryers
quality design, construction and materials
it is nice in design in that glossy black colour with silver elements (for me it is also nicer than HD9867/90 with those elements in gold colour)
is quite quiet, I was expecting much more noise: -)
the instructions are quite detailed and include some recipes and tips for preparing different types of food
An app to download on your phone with over 200 different recipes !
Various accessories are available (for grilling, baking, drying fruit/mushrooms, making pizzas, etc. etc. )
it lacks the "Smart Sensing" function of the newer HD9867/90 model (which in turn lacks the "Meat" preset program! ) - I personally don't miss the "Smart Sensing" function, but I consider the preset "Meat" program to be more essential
maybe a little too high power 2225W and therefore consumption compared to other fryers - but who knows what the results would be at lower power, so I do not consider it a significant minus
quite high price compared to other fryers - but the results really justify it (plus it's cheaper than the HD9867/90)
the included manual is not in SK or CZ language!, it must be downloaded from the Philips.sk website
