Essentially, the successor to the legendary DDR4 Viper modules, which, in their top-of-the-range configurations, featured Samsung’s B-die – the very best available at the time. The situation is the same here, except that the kit is also dual-rank, even with 32GB in the cheapest configuration. The OC is a joy with this kit, though the coolers are of such poor quality it’s almost as if they weren’t there (just like with its predecessor). In any case, I didn’t push it above 6400, and keeping it below 50°C is no problem with reasonable airflow. AM5 compatibility is therefore good, though EXPO is, as always, a disaster by default and is quite likely to be unstable after power-on (VSOC needs to be increased), at least on Ryzen 7000. For manual tuning, however, it’s the perfect kit – it’s a shame about the prices at the moment.
